What needs to change online when an executive’s responsibilities change but their title stays the same?

In brief

A title can stay unchanged while the person's authority, market, product, or geographic remit changes substantially. The underlying role description then needs review even if the headline still looks correct.

Map changes in divisional leadership, regional responsibility and decision approval after the reorganization. Update biographies and interview introductions that describe the previous remit. Explain current responsibilities clearly where customers, recruits or commentators associate an executive with a result or controversy.

The authoritative account should explain current responsibilities with an effective date and preserve previous scope as history where relevant. The review should follow the places that actually describe authority rather than replacing the title everywhere. This is a factual maintenance problem; adding more leadership content will not resolve it if every new page copies the obsolete description.
